About the role
The department of Neurology at Te Toka Tumai Auckland is currently seeking additional, qualified Neurologists to join the team. The department provides tertiary inpatient and outpatient adult neurology care to the greater Auckland region with a catchment population of 1.7 million. We run two national referral services – Epilepsy Video Monitoring and Epilepsy Surgery Program, Deep Brain Stimulation – and a 24/7 multi-region stroke endovascular clot retrieval service.
This is a full-time position (55 hours per week) however part-time would be considered.
About the Team/Service
Our team comprises of 19 consultant neurologists, 2 fellows, 6 registrars/senior residents, 5 nurse specialists, 20 inpatient beds. We have a comprehensive mix of sub-specialist skills and will provide opportunity for you to continue developing your own sub-specialist expertise.
