About the Team/Service/Location
Our Radiology Department serves the populations of the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa districts. We have a wide variety of clinical referrers, including regional Plastic Surgery and Rheumatology services, as well as two Emergency Departments. We provide effective, efficient, and professional clinical radiology services, including general radiology reporting, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology.
Several of our Radiologists are subspecialty trained, providing the opportunity to interact with and receive peer review from colleagues with different subspecialties to further develop your skills. We also provide Regional Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services within our hospitals.
About you
We are looking for Radiologists who have the following:
- Vocational registration in Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- Fellowship of the RANZCR or equivalent and eligibility for specialist registration with the MCNZ
- A generalist skill set with the ability to deliver a wide range of medical imaging procedures
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- The ability to provide consistently high standards of medical care
- Relevant experience and training
