Te Whatu Ora Waitematā
Te Whatu Ora Waitematā Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Service is the largest provider of Mental Health and Addiction Services in New Zealand and comprises an integrated range of Adult Community and Inpatient Services, a comprehensive Infant and Child Adolescent Youth and Family Mental Health Community Service, dedicated Maori (Whitiki Maurea) and Pacific Island (Takanga A Fohe) Community Mental Health Services and a range of specialist services such as Early Psychosis Intervention, Consultation Liaison/ED and Maternal Mental Health. Waitematā is also responsible for the Regional Forensic Psychiatry Services and the Regional Community Alcohol and Drugs Service (CADS).
With this wide range of services and with more than 95 FTE senior medical staff across the service, there is a strong support system available for doctors at any stage of their career, and multiple opportunities to benefit from, or to provide, expert collegial advice and support.
Working either full or part time we are looking for Consultant Psychiatrists who are committed to providing a high standard of care, have a strong consumer focus, enjoy the challenge of providing services to a diverse community and who wish to be a part of a fantastic team of Mental Health and Addiction Clinicians and Psychiatrists.

Permanent or fixed term will also be considered and there may be an opportunity to work flexible hours.
