Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, Nelson Marlborough seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist or Rural Hospital Specialist with an interest in Emergency Medicine to join the department of Emergency Medicine
* Permanent, part-time 0.8FTE (full-time 1.0FTE may be negotiable)
* Be a part of a dynamic Emergency Medicine team
* Rostered and rotating through Monday to Sunday
* Wairau Hospital, Blenheim, New Zealand

The successful candidate will:
* deliver quality services to improve health of the population in Marlborough region
* participate in the ED roster contributing an equal share to shifts
* join a supportive multidisciplinary team including five other FACEM’s, and 3 Rural Hospital Medical Practitioners with a team of RMOs and a Nurse Practitioner making a positive difference
* supervise and participate in teaching of junior medical workforce
* enjoy working and living in one of New Zealand’s most sought-after regions.

The salary for this position is based on the current Senior Medical and Dental Officer collective agreement dependent on skills, experience, and vocational registration in NZ. Meca | ASMS
