The opportunity
Our service, based at three sites in central Auckland, provides specialist secondary care for the wider Auckland region, and tertiary care for complex conditions for the whole of New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
You will work closely with our team of urology surgeons, as well as senior and junior registrars, house officers and nurses.
In this role, you will have potential surgical exposure to:
- robotic surgery including prostatectomy and partial nephrectomy
- complex stone management including PCNL
- reconstruction surgery including urethroplasty
- multiple lasers for HOLEP and stone surgery including suction access sheaths.
Important skills
You must hold, or be eligible for registration as a specialist with the Medical Council of New Zealand, and have appropriate post graduate qualifications (FRACP). This process can be facilitated collaboratively with our organisation to gain temporary registration for your period of employment.
