Specialists or Rural Hospital Medicine trainees who are looking for a great opportunity.

WDHSL (Oamaru Hospital) is accredited for training by the Division of Rural Hospital Medicine programme and is located in Oamaru, the centre of the beautiful Waitaki District. It is close to a number of world class ski fields and has various lakes within the district that provide both great boating and fishing opportunities. It is also the final destination on the famous Alps 2 Ocean cycle trail.

WDHSL covers a diverse population base of approximately 23,000 people with a significant Pasifika population. It has a 20-bed Inpatient ward, 24-hour emergency room, primary birthing unit, outpatient clinics and is well supported with a wide range of community and diagnostic services.

The successful candidate will be required to be a Rural Hospital Medicine Specialist / Generalist or advanced trainee, and will be part of a skilled, diverse and supportive team.
