Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
Wellington Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is looking for a Neonatologist to join the team in a permanent position.
We are one of the largest NICUs in NZ, with a fantastic, multidisciplinary team who value collaboration in a friendly and supportive environment.
Wellington NICU is a 40 cot unit, with close to 1000 admissions per year, providing intensive care for medical and surgical infants from central New Zealand. We run a busy neonatal retrieval service, with the majority of transports via air as well as medical and long term neurodevelopmental follow-up clinics.
We have a strong emphasis on practicing and contributing to international best practice. Huge value has always been placed on having the very best, modern equipment and resources. It certainly makes working here very satisfying!
