Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

We are looking for a Consultant O&G – Gynaecological Oncologist to provide support in the management of women with gynaecological cancer.

The successful candidate will work alongside Consultants in the Gynaecology and the Oncology service, to provide appropriate high quality Gynaecological Oncology care to central New Zealand women using the local resources of  Wellington Regional Hospital, Te Whatu Ora  – Women’s Health Services.

Women’s Health Service at Wellington Regional hospital is a dynamic, innovative team who pride themselves in providing excellent secondary and tertiary care to our families. The team of Senior Medical officers provide clinical leadership to professionals within the team and across the organisation. We have a team of three Gynaecologist Oncologists who are looking for another team member to fit right in.

  • Registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
  • FRANZCOG or equivalent qualification and be able to register for with the MCNZ
  • Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
  • Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care
  • Relevant experience and training
