About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened to join our small but dynamic Dermatology team in the Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley region.
We are looking for experienced Dermatologists who are available to work 30-40 hours per week.
As one of the four Dermatology hubs in Aotearoa, we need an experienced Dermatologist with strong dermatology surgical skills and a knowledge of medical dermatology. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work within a hospital environment to provide care to our patient population.
The successful applicant will provide consulting services and facilitate the provision of high quality care to the patients under their care. The role will provide teaching and supervision with a plan to expand the service over the coming years.
About the service
The Dermatology Service is responsible for providing comprehensive dermatological services for the sub region, including Hutt Valley and Porirua. The Dermatology Service provides collegial leadership in achieving specific annual targets and outcomes in identifying and implementing service development initiatives.

About you
You will:
- be vocationally registered in Internal Medicine (dermatology) with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- hold FRACP or equivalent to be able to register for vocational registration with the MCNZ
- work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
- be able to provide consistently high standards of medical care
- have relevant experience and training.
