(1 year Fixed Term starting Feb 2018)

Auckland City Hospital serves a population of around 444,100, seeing almost two million patients annually. Auckland City Hospital has over 7,000 staff, including bureau staff. The workforce comprises clinical, management and support staff in the hospitals and corporate and support functions. It has over 570 beds and covers an extremely wide range of services.

As New Zealand’s premier medical facility, Auckland City Hospital is home to the widest scope of medical complexity in the country, and provides its staff with an unparalleled opportunity for learning.

This position will involve participation in 7 half day clinical sessions with a mixture of endoscopy lists (3-4/wk) and clinics (3-4/wk). In addition, you may also contribute on a rostered basis to the on call roster and in-patient care.

The Gastroenterology unit serves the central Auckland region and provides a full range of gastroenterology services, clinic consultations, motility procedures and endoscopic procedures.

What you require for this role:
• Full registration in New Zealand
• Specialist accreditation in endoscopy recognised by the NZ Gastroenterology Society
• Current Annual Practising Certificate
