Job description

Auckland City Hospital is the largest Hospital in New Zealand and provides secondary and tertiary care to patients from around the country and Pacific Islands. The Emergency department is an outstanding facility with a fantastic case mix that ensures you are able to practice emergency medicine at the highest level. We provide opportunities to grow your skills in high fidelity clinical simulation, toxicology, research and retrieval medicine. The department is rated highly by patients, staff and trainees alike. We are well staffed with a flexible roster that ensures you get to enjoy the beautiful beaches and outdoor activities that Auckland offers.

The Adult Emergency Department is actively involved in clinical and university based teaching ( including the ACME course, ACLS, Ultrasound, ED thoracotomy and difficult airway courses) and is currently involved in a number of key national and international research projects.

This position can be fulltime or part-time (0.6 to 1 FTE). We would like the successful applicant to commence work from April 2018.
