About the role

We are looking for a General Surgeon with Breast capabilities to join our proactive team of nine general surgeons and one district-wide vascular surgeon, supporting a population of around 140,000. This is a district wide position, based at Nelson Hospital, with an expectation that you will take part in a 1:6 on call roster. The service provides the highest standard of care for our patients, while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

About you

You should be a Fellow of the RACS, or hold an equivalent specialist qualification, be eligible for vocational registration in NZ and have a current annual practising certificate. You will be competent over the range of general surgery and breast.
