Location: Wellington

Contract: Full time, Permanent

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful applicants will be joining a dynamic, busy team and will be interested in making a difference to the patients we serve. We are looking for someone who is in their final year of training and is looking for a role that allows them to work in a supportive environment, gaining further experience as an independent specialist. It is an exciting time to be part of the ophthalmology team at CCDHB, as we look at unique ways of managing patient care. We require someone who thrives on change and someone who thrives on being busy. CCDHB provides ophthalmic services in a variety of sub-specialties so there is flexibility in the type of ophthalmic work available. We require someone who can work independently, managing their own clinics and operating lists.

- Teaching and supporting other staff

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- An ophthalmologist in their final year of training
- Be registered or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
