What you'll do with your time

The West Coast location offers amazing lifestyle and recreational activity opportunities, professional challenges and opportunities. If you love the rural setting and the great outdoors, then this is the role for you.

Adult Mental Health and Addiction Services are seeking applications from Psychiatrists who would be interested in working in the rural health setting.

You will be one of a team of several Psychiatrists (four FTE) working collegially with a stable and experienced workforce to provide specialist services to a population of approximately 32,000 people. We have good systems in place that support collegial relationships and professional development.

Rural services requires a high degree of flexibility, as the work is diverse, The role is essentially for a generalist and may include responsibility for aspects of general adult psychiatry (community and inpatient), addictions, older persons and child and adolescents.
