2 Permanent, Full-time or Part-time
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Urologists. Lakes District Health Board is bringing its Urological service back in house which has created a fantastic opportunity to grow Urological services and provide these locally for our community. The successful candidates will take part in an on call rota with registrar and house officer support.
The successful candidate should have comprehensive experience and training in Urology and must have vocational registration or equivalent qualifications. The Surgical Department has a strong track record with audit and the post holder will be expected to participate and contribute to the departments activities including advanced trainee registrar teaching, audit and medical student teaching.
The positions are available on a full-time basis, however, applications are welcomed from candidates wishing to work on a part time basis.
Lakes District Health Board host medical students from the University of Auckland. You will enjoy the benefits of teaching and supervising years 5 and 6 medical students, while having access to the University’s up to date resources.
