Job description

We are looking for an Emergency Department Specialist or experienced Emergency Medical Officer to join our emergency department. The position will be based at Whakatàne Hospital (110 beds), which serves a population base of 50,000 in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. We are part of an organisation that has a larger base hospital 90km away.

The department sees in the region of 24,000 attendances per year and comprises of 17 bed spaces including two resus bays.
