Contract: Permanent - part time options (up to 0.8 FTE)

Women’s Health Service at Capital & Coast District Health Board is a dynamic, innovative team who pride themselves in providing excellent secondary and tertiary care to our families. The team of Senior Medical officers provide clinical leadership to professionals within the team and across the organisation. The successful applicant will have a variety of experience providing general obstetrics and gynaecology care.
As a Service we are able to support a newly qualified Consultants.
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
Some of your duties will include:
Antenatal and Gynaecology Clinics, Theatre sessions, post-operative care and obstetric management
Guidance and clinical support of trainee doctors
Participation in the on call roster
To work with us you will need to havea high degree of clinical skill in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and hold registration or be eligible to apply for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
